Make up classes
If you miss a class, we offer open studio time to make it up. If you miss the first two classes, you will miss the important demos and will have to do hand-building instead of the wheel. Please note that Open Studio does NOT have a trained instructor present. If you miss a class one week, the following week you can double up by joining another class if there is a seat open. This is the best way to make up a class to get the demo(s) you may have missed.
CLASS AVAILABILITY
If a class is full, you cannot add it to your cart. It will state “ UNABLE TO ADD ITEM. Sorry, that item is out of stock.” Contact us via email and sign up for our newsletter to be informed when the next session is going live on the website! We typically post the upcoming session at the end of week one of our current class (4 weeks before a new session begins). All of our classes continue, back to back every 5 weeks.
Monday evening classes are intermediate. These are designed only for returning students who have taken at least 3 full, 5-week classes at Synergy Ceramics. Approval by Sydney or Alex is needed to sign up for these classes.
OPEN STUDIO
We only accommodate open studio time for current students and members. If you are currently taking a 5-week class with us, you may get on the waiting list for membership, or use the studio for additional practice for a daily drop-in fee of $25 a person. If you want to use the studio independently on a regular basis, contact us to become a member!

Private lessons
We can accommodate up to 12-20 people for a private lesson.
Prices are as follows, for a three-hour lesson. We finish the pottery for you to be picked up 3-6 weeks post workshop. We spend two hours on the wheel, and then move onto hand building for the remaining time. (For groups 6+, we provide a charcuterie board as well!) Students may bring their own adult beverages.
One person: $55 an hour. (this does not include clay or finished pieces. this is designed for members or students who want extra help.)
Two people: $180 each- two hours
Four- seven people: $125 each- 3 hours
eight -twelve people: $110 each - 3 hours
Thirteen-Twenty People: $105 each - 3 hours
membership
After taking a 5-week course with us, you may be added to our membership waitlist. Membership grants you access to the studio 24/7. DO NOT SIGN UP AS A MEMBER UNLESS AJ OR SYDNEY HAVE PERSONALLY GRANTED YOU ACCESS.

Purchase fresh clay, by the bag. All colors are the same price. $40 includes the firing and glazing costs used for the pieces made with each bag.

Recycled clay from the pug mill. $15. This includes firing and glazing. Check for recycled clay before purchasing. Sometimes we run out!

If you want to bring a friend or loved one to the studio, the daily rate is $25 per person.
If you are a former student or member of Synergy, you may also use the studio for drop ins.
“DROP IN” IS NOT AVAILABLE UNLESS YOU ARE A FORMER OR CURRENT STUDENT OR MEMBER OF SYNERGY CERAMICS.
what should I bring?
Nothing! Just bring yourself and a positive attitude! We do recommend trimming your fingernails. This will make your experience on the wheel much better. Aprons are provided, but we recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
Do you sell clay, or fire work from others homes?
No. We are a small ceramics studio, not a clay distributor. COCC sells Georgie’s ceramic supply clay online via their bookstore website.

Do you offer kids classes?
We do not offer kids classes. 18+ only.
