We will spend 2 hours creating pots together. This is a hand building based workshop. We use slabs of clay and cone molds to make holiday trees. We have textures, decals and stamps to help bring your creations to life and add some beautiful details.

Even if you don’t have any pottery experience, you can make some truly fun decorative trees with this technique.

THIS CLASS BEGINS NOVEMBER 9TH AND MEETS WEEKLY, EVERY SUNDAY FROM 2-5PM, UNTIL DECEMBER 14TH! Make up classes are available if you have to miss a class. Chat with your instructor about this when you arrive or email us to schedule your make up class once the course begins.

This adult ceramics class is tailored for all skill levels, ages 18+. We will be delving into the world of wheel throwing for four weeks and glazing on the fifth. We like to introduce hand building activities as well, so that every student can get the most out of this class- regardless of your experience on the wheel.

Our studio is wonderful for hands on instruction and guidance. Come let out stress and find your creative flow. Weekly sessions run 3 hours long, every Wednesday morning from 10am-1pm. You will get to learn the entire process and take everything home glazed and finished once the class is done!

Each student will be given all the tools necessary to be successful in the class, one 25lb bag of clay, access to all the student glazes and firings; and most of all, our hands on, one to one help throughout the class. Create a few pumpkins and ghosts in this 2 hour hand building workshop!

Give each one its own unique face and shape, we will provide electronic tea lights to use when they are all fired!

You can bring out your handmade pumpkins every year, no more rotting on the porch! (Although we fully support also carving a real pumpkin this year and every year of course!)

Each person can expect to make 4-6 things. We will glaze them and have them ready for pickup by Halloween.

Explore the wonders of raku firing!

This unique date night will create memories and pottery that lasts a lifetime.

This event will be held in Tumalo Bend, on a beautiful property with views of the mountains! You wont want to miss out on this amazing experience. This Raku day will take place from 10am-1ish pm , Sunday September 7th.

Choose a vessel to glaze- you will be able to select a few vases from a variety of shapes! After glazing, we place pots into the kiln, and let the magic of raku take over. Each firing takes approximately 40 minutes. Enjoy the nature, music, a walk around the property, charcuterie, beverages and mingling while the kiln heats up! Then we pull from the kiln... the really fun part!

Raku firing: We remove the pottery from a gas powered kiln with large tongs, place them into a trash can with combustibles, and watch the magic happen! Raku is an ancient form of firing, that will make you feel connected to your pieces on a deeper level than a normal electric kiln firing. The pieces are not food safe- typically we make vases, planters and other decoration pieces.

This class is designed for adults, no clay experience needed!

We will clean the pots up after firing, and create a unique flower arrangement from the dry flowers to fill your vessel.

Each person can expect to walk away from the class with 1-2 beautiful and unique pieces of pottery.

This class meets weekly, every Monday for 3 weeks beginning July 21st, from 10am-1pm.

Sydney will teach hand building techniques and guide you through your projects with one on one help! You will focus on slab building plant vessels and wall hangings. We will incorporate real plants into the clay and highlight them with various glazing techniques.

This class is designed for all skill levels! Even if you have never touched clay before, this class is for you!
